  Mole Removal

  There are different ways to remove moles. The doctor might shave it off with a small blade, cut it out with a surgical knife, or use lasers to remove it. The method used depends on the size and type of the mole.

  Closing the Wound

  If the mole is cut out, the doctor might need to stitch up the area. If it's shaved off or removed with lasers, it usually doesn't require stitches.

  Healing

  After the mole is removed, the area might be covered with a bandage or dressing. You'll need to keep it clean and dry while it heals.
